Week 12

It’s hand-in week! I worked on producing, documenting my outcome and continued to make more books.

Envisioning outcome

In line with the feedback discussion, and in order to effectively capture the scale of time, I decided to go with a spatial installation to give my outcome a visceral quality.

I drilled all the wooden planks, painstakingly measured out and nailed every metre of twine.

I've finally found a way to express my love for handcrafted books. I created a single section, fabric covered case binding.

With term hand-ins done, I spent the day at the screen printing studio. Print day, fun day!

Moving into the next term and starting out in some new directions, I’m excited for what lies ahead!
