Week 23

This week has been quite busy drafting & discussing my thesis proposal, tinkering with some Arduino & Processing and making sound sculptures.

Past few weeks have been hectic but intellectually stimulating with cycles of research, drafting and feedback for my graduate thesis proposal. It was good to share our drafts with peers and discuss our thoughts.

Working with Arduino and Processing, I used a potentiometer and button to control a simple sketch. These mini exercises are helping me better acquaint myself with physical computing and serve as a good warm-up exercise for an upcoming project.

I also took part in a workshop Newly Forgotten Technologies by Wesley Goatley. We looked into Amazon Alexa devices, deconstructed them, turning them into sounds sculptures.
