This week has been busy focusing on completing my portfolio for submission, critically reflecting on my practice so far, going on more sensory walks, and putting together a book compiling my sound poetry compositions.

I carefully curated works I created during the course and sketched out how I wanted to present them on my portfolio website.

Continuing my efforts on a sensory mapping project focused on air quality in Chatham & led by Kate McLean, I went on smell walks along with local participants. The learnings gained from this project significantly contribute to the research I am conducting for my dissertation

I dedicated a portion of this week to assemble my experimental sound poetry prints into a book at the book arts studio. To showcase the variations in print techniques, I opted for a concertina style book. Using letterpress and hot foil blocking, I embossed the title onto the cover of the book.
