Freshly back in Bangalore from London and slowly settling into life here again. I'm starting to catch up with friends and colleagues, and meeting fellow makers. Right now, I’m mostly finding my way into spaces I tend to seek in a city: reading & walking groups, niche creative collectives, and low-key meetups. What are the role and implications of metaphors used to describe Artificial Intelligence in shaping how it is understood?

I’m collaborating with We and AI on examining how AI is discussed through metaphors. Our near-term goal is to build a shared metaphor repository / observatory to support more intellectually honest and useful ways of talking about AI.
