This week has been all about working on my dissertation thesis, critical making, using data visualisation as a research method and mentoring.

I dedicated a substantial amount of time this week to refining the critical context section of my thesis. All the extensive reading and data walks over the summer have truly paid off, as I weave together all these ideas into a coherent argument and find my voice in it.

As I inch closer towards my outcome, I have been using data visualisation as a research method to see connections and slices of the sensory data I’ve collected thus far for my project and it has opened up new dimensions in my inquiry.

I'm truly thrilled and excited about my role as a mentor in this year's cohort for the Data Visualisation Society's mentorship program. We had our kickoff event this week, and I'm eagerly looking forward to sharing and give back to the community.

Later in the week, I visited the Science Gallery to check out their Machine Mythologies exhibition. It was a pleasant experience seeing Elsewhere in India, work of audio-visual artists Murthovic & Thiruda presenting an anthology of stories connecting heritage, science and society.
